Titanium-based implants are the gold standard for replacing missing teeth. They are placed in the jaw bone to support a crown that aims to replicate a natural tooth’s normal function and appearance.

Dental implants are small titanium cylinders placed in the jaw and support a crown (part of the tooth above the gum line). The area is made numb, and the gum is lifted open. The implant is then placed in the jaw bone and allowed to heal over usually 12 weeks. Once the implant can heal and integrate, it can have a crown on top of it.
