We’ll Make a Great First Impression!

Using the iTero scanner, we can capture digital structure of the teeth and gums using the latest optical technology. The scanner is a compact, hand-held wand. Once your Dentist begins the scanning process, it can be stopped and started as many times as necessary.

Most iTero scans take 10-15 minutes to perform. Once they’re done, patients can spend as much time as they like going over the scan and visualizing both projected progress and the final expected end result with their Dentist.

The technology used with an iTero scan does not involve any type of radiation, which means it is exceptionally low-risk compared to other dental scans. The iTero device is also low-risk for allergies and a 3D scan is available immediately eliminating the need to take conventional impressions. The precision of digital impressions compared to mould impressions allows a better fitting of crowns, dentures, and splints. This reduces the need for more appointments.

The scanner gives us a 3D model of your mouth that can be used for digital impressions, including the Invisalign Outcome Simulator to show you what your new smile might look like.
